At only 1 pound, 15 ounces, she's smaller than the average guinea pig. The really shocking thing is she's full grown. She turns 3 years old in November.
Despite her ultra-petite size, Luci is 100% dog. Frenetic energy drives this tiny clown into some hysterically funny situations, like when she clamps onto her big brother's ear, and he drags her across the kitchen floor like the world's smallest mop.
And although she could fit in your shirt pocket, don't think you could forget Luci there. She grumbles under her breath and mumbles "nerm, nerm, nerm" to let you know she's not to be taken lightly.
Ruby, the Mini Dachshund, also carries a fine lineage to match her luxurious fur.
Fiercely independent and completely fascinated by people, Ruby refuses to live life in a gilded cage (or rather a soft-sided kennel). Try to contain her and she'll always find a way to escape and cuddle up to her fellow Doxie Onyx or her gal pal Megan.
And those reports you've heard of Ruby participating in weiner dog racing, untrue. This dappled diva does not Doxie Dash.
Now retired from her career as a champion Japanese Chin, Sadie enjoys greeting fellow rescued Chins and Tibetan Spaniels, human friends, and horses. Occasionally, she'll goes to extremes to visit her equine neighbors. She'll use those long legs to jump the back fence.
No worries, though. Sadie always knows the way back to her front door. After all, she convinced three different potential adopters that her home was with her original foster family from Luv-a-chin.
Click Sadie's painting to learn more about her from the family Sadie chose to adopt.
She has an outfit for almost any occasion, and she always enjoys hanging out with her friends and making them smile.
Don't let her classic beauty fool you into thinking Peanut is just another diva. This girl also knows how to make a splash. At one cabin party she donned a life jacket, jumped right into the lake, and swam for hours. Dog paddling never looked so good! Of course, she also took full advantage of the raft and laid out to tan (and beauty nap) afterwards.
